The Indigenous Access McGill (IAM) program – which provides mentoring and tutoring services to First Nations and Inuit students in the School of Social Work at the University is running out of its grant funding. Student Support Coordinator for IAM Trudy Blumstein and Arts Senator Claire Stewart-Kanigan discuss the challenges the program faces, and why funding needs to be institutionalized for the program.
