As an alumnus of McGill University, I am shocked that this institution would dismiss one of the few teachers I have ever met in my many years spent at institutes of higher learning who really knows the meaning of the term education. Having sat in on two of his classes, I found myself wishing that I could have had the educational experience his students were privileged to benefit from. I call on the McGill University officers to have the integrity to give the reason for his dismissal. It is unthinkable not to do so.
