Montréal à Votre Service…Écologique aims to educate and interact
with McGillians and Montrealers about the benefits that we obtain
everyday from the ecosystems around us. Based out of Professor Elena
Bennett’s lab in Natural Resource Sciences and funded by McGill’s
Sustainability Projects Fund, our project is an exciting new venue for
science communication and outreach.

We are seeking to hire 2-3 enthusiastic and motivated undergraduate
student ambassadors. We need students to help us with one, or all of:
• Outreach: connecting our project with green projects/groups at
McGill and around Montreal; networking with undergraduate classes and
groups; and helping us publicize our project.
• Web Design: designing an engaging, interactive, bilingual, and
beautiful website that incorporates social media.
• Mapping and Software Development: helping us integrate video,
audio, and maps of ecosystem services into our website, and developing
a smartphone app.

Student ambassadors will be expected to work 3-5 hours per week during
the semester at $10-12 per hour. Start date would be as soon as
possible, with the possibility of continuing to full-time work during
the summer of 2013.
